With over 35 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Supervisor and Industrial Mechanic in high-volume food manufacturing environments, I am excited to bring my expertise in PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems, packaging machinery maintenance, and team leadership to your organization.
Most recently at Ernie Ball in Coachella, CA, I have been responsible for overseeing maintenance operations on the production floor. This includes the rebuilding of both automated and manual equipment, as well as the design and construction of new machinery to support uptime objectives. I supervise up to 17 mechanics and maintain critical equipment such as ABMs (core wire production), ball coilers, EB coilers, IDW single winders, bass winding machines with three carriages, and Domino printers. I also troubleshoot flow wrapper machines, modify control programs for improved efficiency, service air compressors, and maintain air conditioning systems while managing parts inventory.
Throughout my career, I have successfully led maintenance teams, developed robust preventive maintenance programs, and significantly reduced downtime by implementing efficient troubleshooting processes and automation solutions.
